Amtec 264 High Alloy Steel

Amtec 264 is a versatile, easy to use, low heat maintenance welding alloy for joining and building up of most steels. It has a special ferritic - austenitic deposit, therefor the microstructure remains two phase and produces a highly crack resistant deposit. It has a good high temperature and corrosion resistance. The special flux formulation eliminates slag interference in horizontal fillets and allows for welding in all positions, and the low heat input ensures dense, spatter free deposits that are fully machinable.

Amtec 222 Low Alloy Steel

Amtec 222 is a specially developed, all position, low alloy steel electrode for fabrication and maintenance work. It produces smooth and spatter-free welds, with either AC or DC equipment and can be used as a contact electrode. Its easy slag removal guarantees a minimum of cleanup and finishing. Ideal for field repair work and out of position welding. Amtec 222 produces a deeper penetration when welded on DC Reverse, and a soft low penetrating weld when used on DC Straight. This is ideal when welding on thin sheet metal, where cleanup will be at a minimum.

Amtec 65 Chromium-Niobium Hardsurfacing

Amtec 65 is a unique combination of carbides in a homogeneous deposit that is used for extreme abrasion resistance. This electrode is a combination of chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, niobium and tungsten with a high carbon content that allows it to form a tight carbide structure that offers the ultimate combination of abrasion resistance and high temperature hardness retention. Amtec 65 maintains its hardness up to 1600'F (860'C), and the electrode produces a deposit that leaves very little slag which means more deposit for the money. Has metal recovery of over 190%.

Amtec HSS 64 High Speed Tool Steel

Amtec HSS 64 is an all position, extremely high alloyed, titania coated electrode, used when molybdenum-bearing, high speed steel characteristics are desired. Deposits are very dense and have high resistance to abrasion and frictional wear. The deposit almost reaches full hardness as deposited, and has excellent cutting power and toughness. Amtec HSS 64 is ideal for welding molybdenum-alloyed, high speed tools made from AIAI M-1, M-2, M-7 and M-10.

Amtec Tubular Tungsten Hardsurfacing

Amtec Tube Tungsten is and extremely wear and abrasion resistant macrocrystalline tungsten carbide arc and gas rod. This product is designed for the ultimate wear resistance caused by abrasion, and has a uniform microstructure, meaning that the carbide particles do not sink in the weld metal, but stay uniform throughout the deposit from top to bottom. The gas rod is in a very hard alloy steel matrix tube that has excellent flow and a smooth, medium bead profile. The arc electrode has a dipped coating that leaves slag free deposits with unusually high wear resistance. Both the arc and gas rods have a 60% tungsten content, which gives the highest wear resistance available.
