Amtec 605 Tin-Nickel Bronze Electrode

Amtec 605 is a special tin-nickel bronze alloy for joining and surfacing of bronze parts, especially those that are subject to sea water and many other chemicals. The nickel content makes the deposit of this electrode harder and more wear resistant. Deposits are uniform and porosity free. Slag is easy to remove, and the weld metal has excellent color match to bronze.

Amtec 604C Phosphor-Tin Bronze Electrode

Amtec 604C is an AC-DC phosphor/tin bronze electrode that works very well on AC current. This is the only bronze electrode that can be used on AC. This specially developed alloy is excellent for joining copper base alloys not only to themselves, also to stainless steel, cast iron, and steels, including galvanized steel. Provides a smooth deposit free from spatter, with an easily removable slag. Can be welded with easy manipulation in all positions, and has excellent color match on bronze.

Ametc 600 Pure Copper Electrode

Amtec 600 is a pure copper electrode for joining and build-up of copper parts requiring corrosion resistance and thermal and/or electrical conductivity. This electrode is over 99% commercially pure copper to match the copper base metal being welded. It has smooth arc characteristics, allowing easy joining of copper. The high purity of the weld metal allows for joining dissimilar grades of copper. Preheat of 1000°F is always required when welding on copper. No exceptions.
