A brief history
Amtec Welding Products, Inc., was established in 1982 by Murray Jones. With 10 years of experience in the Maintenance and Repair Welding business Murray decided that the best way to service customers was through Authorized Distributors that would stock the Amtec line of welding electrodes. It is through these valued Distributors that Amtec has been able to grow their business throughout the Southwest, with Distributors in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas and Missouri.
Amtec's product line is made up of the finest electrodes manufactured around the world. Products come from many different countries such as Austria, Germany, Belgium, Canada, and the United States of America. We meticulously selected the best electrodes produced by the leading manufacturers, which compare to anything available on the market today. We did not select our line-up by price, but by quality and appearance. That is why customers buy our product and continue to purchase them time after time, year after year.
